The SQ7 is a new addition to the Q7 lineup for 2020. It's been available in Europe for a few years, but only with a diesel engine, which we won't get in the U.S.The Audi Q7 will soon be available in high-performance form for the first time in the U.S. Called the SQ7, this variant of the mid-size luxury SUV comes with a significantly more powerful engine than the Q7 and also has a beefed-up suspension and slightly more aggressive looks. With 500 horsepower from its V-8 engine, it will compete with the BMW X5 M and Mercedes-AMG GLE-class.

Land Rover is introducing a V-8 engine into the Defender lineup for 2022: the 518-hp Supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that's found in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models. The V-8 will be available on both the two-door 90 and four-door 110 models; a high-end Carpathian Edition model will also sport the V-8 engine.
